Wow...I haven't written in here in a long time.  Let's see...where to start?

Band.  We've had three games so far.  We've finally got all three songs on the field.  It's gonna be a great season, I'm so excited.  I'm having a little trouble with the low brass.  My captain doesn't exactly back me up in anything I do, so it's hard to get them to listen to me.  But, I'm doing pretty well personally.  Right now I have mono, so I'm missing a practice this week.  And then I probably won't be able to do a whole lot at practice Thursday.  Then I have the game Friday.  Then practice most of the day on Saturday.  I probably won't even bring my instrument out Saturday.  If I overwork myself, then this mono shit could just get even worse.  And I really don't want that...not with competitions in less than a month.

School.  Same old same old.  I've got senioritis yet again.  My AP English class is easy as anything.  French III is easy.  Gov't/Econ, not so easy...but I don't care.  I didn't study at all in Gov't and I came out with like an 88 or 89, and now we're moving onto Econ, and I'm hoping it'll be the same.

Family.  They're good.  Cecilia's living on campus at Armstrong, and she just turned 20.  Hard to believe she's not older than that.  She has a tendency to act a lot older.  Especially now that she's living on her own...well, to an extent.  My parents are the same as they've always been.  My mom's trying to give me a little more freedom and I think my dad's trying to give me less.  He doesn't want me to grow up.

Friends.  They're great, as always.  Spend most of my time with Leslie and Hilary and Jozay nowadays.  We all have a lot in common, even outside of band, so it works out nicely.  I've gotten to know Jozay a little more this year and I love him to death.  He's so fuckin' hilarious.  I've made other friends, mostly through band, but not of them will ever compare to these three.

Boyfriend.  Kyle.  Yeah.  Same as always.  Not much to say here.

So...that's my life.  Pretty uneventful.  I'm looking forward to a great senior year...but I'm looking forward to college even more.  I know it's going to be rough at times, but I'll have Leslie there for support and I'm ready to take on a new challenge.  Just gotta get accepted first.
